Course Summary
Just like people, dogs will lose their skills if they don't use them. If you learn a new language but then stop practicing it for years you are going to forget most of it when the time comes you need it again. Very few skills stay with you without regular use. Dog Training with your dog is the same way. If you only practice the training when the dog is in class or the first year of their life and then quit, they will begin to lose those skills. It's important to find a way to incorporate the skills you teach your dog into regular life so they stay practiced with them.
